Free download and instructions for installing the Lexmark X1270 All-in-One Printer Driver for Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 7 64-bit. For those who have lost the installation CD.
To install the Lexmark X1270 All-in-One Printer driver, download the version of the driver that corresponds to your operating system
by clicking on the appropriate link above. A window should then show up asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the driver file somewhere
on your computer where you will be easily able to find it, such as your desktop. Then follow the instructions below corresponding to the file type that you
downloaded
Go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the file. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions for installing the driver.

I have had my Lexmark X1270 working with windows 7 64 bit system for over 18 months, but recently I installed new ink cartridges and was asked if I wanted to check for any updates, it took me to the Lexmark driver install program, but it did not install the driver correclyt, the Icon on my desktop will not function nor will the buttons on the printer, I uninstalled the driver and tried to reinstall it again, now it only installs the scan element of the printer, don't know if this is the driver or the computer. I have just got the same model of printer which is BRAND NEW from my brother who does not use his computer any longer and it will not work with that either.
What has gone wrong in the last few months with the driver for Windows 7 64bit system and Lexmark drivers? |
