Free download and instructions for installing the HP PSC 1317 All-in-One Printer Driver for Windows XP 64-bit, Windows 7, Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8, Windows 8 64-bit, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64-bit. For those who have lost the installation CD.
To install the HP PSC 1317 All-in-One Printer driver, download the version of the driver that corresponds to your operating system
by clicking on the appropriate link above. A window should then show up asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the driver file somewhere
on your computer where you will be easily able to find it, such as your desktop. Then follow the instructions below corresponding to the file type that you
downloaded
Go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the file. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions for installing the driver.

When I bought this Packard Bell machine (WindowsXP sp3)I expected it to last as long as my digital radio without malfunctions. I had the BSOD test me to the limits of my patience, then when I finally performed a 'complete recovery' (resetting the thing to its factory settings) I found of course that few of my drivers worked any more. They were outdated or wiped off my pc.
I'm told the BSOD episodes which drove me to take such measures are a flaw in the XP operating system...no matter; I cleaned the innards of the tower and reset to the day I bought it. Now, I have to scour the internet finding drivers when all around I feel besieged by Sheisters trying to make me pay for them!
Microsoft should think themselves lucky they aren't being sued for selling crap. It cost me £700 for this thing ($1,099 at today's exchange)....it should work without blue-screening the bejaysus out of me! |
